Mediocre breaks up after one LP, LA band calls it quits
Los Angeles band Mediocre has disbanded after releasing just one full album. The group announced Wednesday that members will pursue separate creative projects. Vocalist Keely Martin and guitarist Piper Torrison founded the act in 2016 after performing around Southern California.
The trio released Growth Eater through Dangerbird Records in September 2024. The label signed them in 2022 after the band issued several singles and extended plays over multiple years. The farewell message thanked supporters and promised their musical legacy would endure.
