During the 4th Admiralty Law Colloquium in Lagos, NIMASA’s Director-General, Dr. Dayo Mobereola, emphasized that effective legal interpretation is vital for achieving the nation’s maritime goals. The judiciary’s involvement, according to Mobereola, is essential for raising industry standards and fostering investment confidence.
The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, urged judicial officers to actively shape the Blue Economy through sound adjudication and policy interpretation. The event focused on enhancing legal frameworks to support maritime growth and ensure sustainable development.
