NNPCL nets N216b profit on N4.26t revenue
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited generated 4.26 trillion naira in revenue and earned 216 billion naira in profit after tax for September 2025. The state oil company pumped 1.61 million barrels per day of crude oil and condensate, slightly below the August 2025 figure of 1.64 million barrels daily. Industry analysts attribute this minor decrease to scheduled equipment servicing at production facilities.
The company extracted 5,284 million metric standard cubic feet of natural gas in the same month. Retail stations managed by the petroleum firm maintained Premium Motor Spirit supplies at 77 percent availability levels. The corporation paid 10.07 trillion naira to government coffers between January and August.
Construction work on the Obiafu-Obrikom-Oben pipeline reached 96 percent completion, while the Ajaokuta Kaduna Kano project advanced to 88 percent. A 113-kilometer section of the Obiafu-Obrikom-Oben gas pipeline already operates and transports approximately 300 million standard cubic feet of gas each day. Officials report upstream operations functioned at 96 percent capacity throughout September.
