The Other Songs to manage Andrew Lloyd Webber catalog
London-based entertainment company The Other Songs has secured management rights to Andrew Lloyd Webber’s entire musical catalog through a partnership with Sony Music’s distribution arm The Orchard. The arrangement covers both existing works and upcoming releases from the theatrical composer, whose productions include The Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar and Evita.
Recent streaming activity for Webber’s material reached record levels following a viral Halloween trend on TikTok that generated over 200,000 fan-created videos related to The Phantom of the Opera. The Other Songs and The Orchard previously collaborated on successful releases, including a chart-topping single from Evita performed by Rachel Zegler and a number one cast recording of Sunset Boulevard featuring Nicole Scherzinger.
Founded by Webber’s sons, Alastair and Billy Webber, The Other Songs operates as a record label, publisher and management company that recently established a global publishing agreement with Universal Music Publishing Group.
