Bandsintown hits 100 million fans across 196 countries with AI concert picks
Bandsintown has registered 100 million users across 196 nations on its concert discovery platform. The service connects fans with 700,000 artists and tracks 2.3 million events through 65,000 venues. Monthly recommendations reach 450 million through artificial intelligence that analyzes streaming habits and geography. Nearly 20 million users click through to purchase tickets each month.
The company tackles a persistent industry issue, with 40 percent of American concert seats remaining empty. Fans often miss shows due to a lack of awareness about scheduled performances. Bandsintown integrates with Spotify and Apple Music to access 4.1 billion potential concertgoers. Goldman Sachs projects the global concert business will double from 38 billion dollars to nearly 80 billion by 2030.
Emerging performers benefit substantially from the platform. Accounts with under 250,000 followers receive 60 percent of ticket clicks. The service adds 900,000 fans and 5,000 musicians monthly. Founders Fabrice Sergent and Julien Mitelberg said the platform counters digital isolation by promoting shared experiences at live venues.
