Elevate expands European reach with Legadex buy
Los Angeles-based alternative legal service provider Elevate will purchase Amsterdam firm Legadex in a deal marking its fourth acquisition since May 2024. The transaction extends Elevate’s presence across Europe as it adds a company specializing in technology-driven legal services.
Founded in 2008, Legadex brings expertise in contract review, workflow optimization and legal technology implementation. The firm currently works with more than 300 customers spanning law practices and publicly traded corporations. Founders Hans-Martijn Roos and Luc van Daele will move into management positions at Elevate. Chairman and CEO Liam Brown called Legadex a pioneer in Dutch legal innovation whose team fits well with Elevate’s strategic direction.
Elevate employs up to 5,000 people across offices in the United States, Britain, Poland, India, Japan, the Philippines and Australia. Chambers has given the company a Band 1 ranking for 10 straight years in contract lifecycle management, flexible staffing and litigation work. Private equity firm Inflexion values the legal technology market at over 20 billion pounds with yearly expansion between six and 10 percent. Previous Elevate acquisitions this year brought in intellectual property researcher Sagacious IP and multi-language support provider CJK Group.
